Ride: Lochside trail to Amity Road...out and back

A mild Saturday with a plan. I met Tony late in the morning at the blue bridge. Our plan was to ride the Lochside out almost to Sidney and come back to Mitchell's Farm for lunch. We'd had a good burger and excellent fries there a couple of weeks earlier and another round sounded like a good idea. The trails and roads were quite busy, both because of the weather, but also the Ironman happening the next day. We met a couple from Atlanta over lunch. They were up to watch their daughter run the triathalon. They'd brought their folding Bike Friday's and were touring around Saanich checking out the route and the sight. We had a nice chat and even better food and headed home.
