Ride: Lochside to the Airport loop

One ride soaked to the skin and the next sunscreen and warmth. The Tour de Victoria was on and we did all we could to avoid it, but got caught up in a detour around closed roads. We crossed the course at one point and watched the cyclists that had paid $250 to ride. We continued on for free. Fewer cyclist out on the trails made for a smooth ride, The airport loop was fun and I discovered my front shifter was less that working. But I powered up the steep hill to the airport overlook in a big gear. Hard work, had a snack and a drink...and back home.
