Headingly....30c by 10am....yikes

I was planning to head straight out Portage and go as far as the White Horse. I should have left at 7am! I did leave at 9ish and by the time I got to Headingly the roadside temperature displays were showing 30c. Since I'd already drank one of my two water bottles I thought it would be wise to turn around. After a short stop I ended up on the wheel of a really cute female roadie and followed her and her friend back up Roblin at 30kph. It made for a quick return. When I got home I checked the weather and the humidex (at 11:00am) was +36c. I am way more overheated than yesterday....
