It's St. Patty's Day....It's still winter!

This is the first time I have ever been on a bike ride, in Winnipeg, in shorts and a t-shirt, in the WINTER! We've had a record breaking heat wave for over a week now. There was more snow on the ground two weeks ago than there has been all winter. It's all gone! It was +17 at noon so Steve and I took a spin on our mountain bikes through the park and out to Grant's Mill. We were motoring like it was May and I felt it when I tried to stand after a little sit down. The legs felt like noodles. Steve's been spinning on the trainer so he found my lack of fitness amusing. Average speed was 19.6kph. Not bad for the first ride of the year. Out again tomorrow.
