It was an absolutely perfect morning to go for a bike ride. So I dithered around the house until after 9am and finally launched myself out to Headingly. I stole the bike computer off the Raleigh and re-programmed it because I'm really cheap! Anyway, there was a light wind out of the south-west and lots of cyclists on the road. Strangely, hardly any of them waved back when I greeted them. Grumpy lot of roadies. Just before I turned back to the city I was doing 35kph or so and got smoked by a guy in a yellow shirt, who I guess was trying to win something. He ignored by cheery "good morning" as well. But my opinion of roadies improved when I was overtaken by Brian on Saskatchewan Ave. We rode together until Omand's Creek and had a good chat. Every bike ride should be so good.
