Avoiding the marathon...out to Bird's Hill

Hey, it must almost be summer. It was warm and sunny. I didn't wear or take along a jacket for the first time this season. We should have gone south today but the Manitoba Marathon was in the way. So we went north and flew out to Bird's Hill at about 35kph. It was a little slower on the way back. We did spend some time tormenting a guy on an old Bianci with panniers and high handlebars who kept passing us and then couldn't keep up the pace. We would ride right behind him and chat away to each other but not pass him. It was fun and he looked tuckered when he turned off. Hehe...simple pleasures.
