Mechanical problems

Cyclists: Mike, Steve and (briefly) Forbes.

Our plan was to go out to Headingly at least, maybe the White Horse. I noticed a guy on a mountain bike grinding into the wind some distance ahead of us. It took a while to catch him and when we were passing him Steve turned to say good morning and instead said, "Hi Dad!" We rode a short time with Forbes and then continued on. In Charleswood Steve notice that the crank had developed a bad wobble. He tried to fix it but it seemed stripped. Getting caught 30km from home didn't seem like a good plan, so we turned back. Good thing too...parts started flying off Steve's bike on my street. It wasn't pretty. So, a short Sunday ride, but scenic.
