A nice Remberance Day ride

Service was resumed as usual this November 11th, after last years sudden end to the cycling season at the beginning of the month. I wasn't up to a 100km ride like four years ago, and it might even be argued the 50km was something of a stretch. But it was such a nice day I couldn't stop at my planned turnaround point and kept going out to Bird's Hill even though I knew the wind was going to be in my face on the way home. I followed up the bike ride with some soccer in the afternoon and paid for it the next couple of days. Oh well, I have all winter to recover.
