When I met Steve at 8:30 he announced that the ride would be short. Perhaps to Headingly, but more likely to the edge of town...and he would likely vomit at least once. Turns out he'd had intimate relations with beverages both distilled and fermented the evening before. I had no problem with the ride, since I'd gotten too close to a lot of cheap scotch myself, and didn't feel all that much like a long one. So off we went. To make a long story short, we got to Headingly...decided to go to Beaudry Park. Steve announced he'd discovered the cure for a hangover and we continued on to the White Horse. After 40km fighting the wind we turned for home. It was good, until the wind stopped being behind us. Then it was work again so we headed home the short way. Still...a good Sunday ride.
